Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Fifty Shades of Purple Charity Gala. This most exquisite event will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Caramel Room, located at 1600 N Broadway, St Louis, MO 63102. This year’s theme is “Together We Can End Domestic Violence.” As a valued partner in our community, we are excited to share with you the impactful work we are doing through our Pathways to Brightness Program. This program encompasses two vital initiatives: the Empowerment Certification Program and the Real Men Don't Hit Program, both of which are dedicated to fostering personal growth, resilience, and opportunity among our participants.

 

The Pathways to Brightness "Empowerment Certification Program" is an eight-week transformative initiative designed to equip individuals with the skills, resources, and support necessary to unlock their full potential. Through a comprehensive curriculum of financial literacy classes, empowerment sessions, and personal development opportunities, participants are empowered to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. By sponsoring this program, you will directly contribute to empowering individuals to thrive and succeed, making a lasting impact in the lives of survivors and underserved communities.

 

Similarly, our Real Men Don't Hit Program is a six-week initiative tailored to address the unique challenges faced by middle and high school boys aged 12-17. Through mentorship and structured sessions focusing on conflict resolution, healthy relationships, anger management, and socioeconomic conditions, we aim to equip young men with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with resilience and integrity. Recognizing that not all at-risk male students will pursue traditional academic paths, we actively promote career development and interest by connecting participants with local trade schools and recreational programs.
